'The competition organized in partnership with Trace Nigeria, held its finale in Lagos on Friday 22nd November 2013 at 10 Degrees, and named the 300 Biology student of the University of Abuja as the winner. Samuel got the winning title by defeating 9 other contestants – Most especially HEC who got into battle with him at the final round with heavy punch lines, Miekharry, Psychobarz, EM.A, Dusten Truce, Baysix, Jurggis, Golden and High M. Prometh also won a sum of $20,000.
The Finale also had amazing performances from Nigerian rap gurus – M.I, Wizkid, Olamide, Lynxxx, Phyno, Skales, Sean Tizzle, Jesse Jagz, May D and Blink.
And the judges line up are Evalodia, Majeed, Mode 9 and a famous Ghanian rapper. Bovi and Jimmy of Industry Nite was the host.
